At HHX, a practical understanding of AI is a baseline for anyone joining our team. This short challenge is the first step in our interview process and gives you a simple way to show us how you use AI to create real leverage, not just polished text.

We are not looking for a perfect answer, a particular tool, or an elaborate performance. If you already use AI efficiently, the project should take no more than 15 minutes. Please do not overthink it.

Prove you can actually use AI

One fixture. Twenty four hours to submit. Your working device. We want to see how you think, what you build, and how you turn an idea into something real.

How it works

Register with your name, email, and a portfolio link. We will email you a secure, signed link.
Open the link on the device you plan to use, choose the lens that best matches how you create value, and start when you are ready.
You have 24 hours to submit a concise writeup, one working artifact, and a trace showing how the work happened.

Privacy: We collect your name, email, and portfolio link to run this hiring challenge. We log the IP and user agent of your first click so we can spot abuse. We keep challenge data for up to 12 months, then delete it. Email hiring@marcusspillane.com with "DELETE [your email]" to remove your data sooner.
